Night Light

Nathan has always slept with a lot of stuff in his crib...BUT I am not quite sure how the lamp shade made it's way in. This was a first.

Nicaragua!

Put another stamp in Nathan's passport! He just got back from a super fun trip to Nicaragua where he spent each day at the pool and beach, napping and eating quite a bit of junk food. I think it was the best vacation of his life!

Mmmm...Mmmm....Brownies!

Nathan takes his brownie eating very seriously. He opens his mouth really wide so that he can get as much brownie in as possible.

We usually head outside to eat brownies because Nathan can get a little wild. He loves to do the happy brownie dance...

GOOOOO Angels!

Nathan went to his very first baseball game last night. He had the best time ever! He wore his hat, he clapped when people cheered, he sat in HIS seat and he flirted with the ladies behind him.

We weren't sure how long Nathan would last, but we ended up staying almost the entire game. The only reason we left early was to beat traffic! The first couple innings were spent eating candy. The fourth inning was spent crusing the aisles. The ice cream kept him busy for innings 6 & 7. And his ABC book and Thomas the Train filled in the gaps.

Around & Around

Lately, Nathan has been completely obsessed with running around in circles. He prefers running while naked or in a diaper. I've rarely seen him do it with his clothes on. When he gets going...watch out...because he will go on and on and on. He seriously will not stop until he's forced to. I get exhausted just watching him. Tonight, he ran for about 15 minutes straight.

P.S. If you're wondering what he's saying...it's "almost cae"...which is a combo of english and spanish. It translates to "almost fall".

22 Months

Yesterday was Nathan's 22 month b-day! We headed outside for a quick photo shoot...

Eggs

Nathan is very excited that the Easter Bunny is coming - he just can't wait to find the eggs and put them in his basket. And when I ask him what the Easter Bunny will be bringing, he says "TOYS!" (um, no, Nathan...he isn't Santa Claus).

Just to make sure that Nathan knows what to do on Easter morning, we decided to head over to the park for a serious practice round of egg hunting before the big day. He waited patiently in a VERY long line. It was kind of chaotic, but Nathan scored six eggs and walked away a total pro.

The fun didn't end there! After we got home, Nathan helped me decorate the eggs for the real thing tomorrow. He plopped them in the dye and applied lots of stickers to each one. I know he can't wait for the big day!

Easter Bunny

After what happened with Santa Claus, I wasn't sure how Nathan would do with the Easter Bunny. He ended up doing quite well, although he didn't really show much emotion either way. Nathan is definitely getting better with the oversized holiday characters!

It Fits!

Many months ago, Jeremy bought Nathan his own little wetsuit. Well, it finally fits...and Nathan just loves to wear it around the house! I'm sure this will get a lot of use during the summer since Nathan is NOT a fan of cold water.
